Harvey 12/20/99 Mrs. Lonnie M. Harvey, age 77, 122 Spears Avenue, Elizabethton, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following brief illness. Mrs. Harvey was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Nat and Lena Lewis Shoun. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny P. Harvey, in 1999, and by one brother and one sister. She was a retired employee of Beaunit Fibers with 10 years of service. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Orville P. Harvey, of the home; one brother, Harlan Stout, Potosi, Mo., three sisters: Ruth Davis, Panama City, Fla.; and Pauline Nidiffer and Vada Street, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Harvey, age 77, 122 Spears Avenue, Elizabethton, who died Saturday, will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Davenport officiating. Music will be by Sue Hamm, pianist/soloist. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Richard Pilk, Aaron Glover, Steve Davenport, Mike Williams, Doug Bradley, Tim Pilk, Bob Hamm, Joe Carr and John Waycaster. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Senior Sunday School Class of Harmony Baptist Church. To those who desire, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 130 Keenburg Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643, or the Carter County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 776, Elizabethton, TN 37644. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 4-5 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday to go to the cemetery.
