Hass Arnold Boyd Hass, 76, 3038 Highway 321, Hampton, died Thursday, January 10, 2002, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Mr. Hass was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Andrew Buck and Della Miller Hass. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Hass was owner and operator of the Fish Springs Convenience Store and a member of Fish Springs Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Margie Jane Reed Hass, and a daughter, Sharon Hass, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. HASS -- Funeral services for Arnold Boyd Hass, 76, 3038 Highway 321, Hampton, who died Thursday, January 10, 2002, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Burl Sluder officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Military Graveside Honors accorded by the Captain Lynn H. Folsom VFW Post #2166. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 12:50 p.m. Monday, will be Dick Ward, Burl Campbell, John Campbell, Howard Rainbolt, Roland Reece, Charles Cable and Brown Hatley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon Monday until the service hour. Friends may also call at the residence.
