CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Maude Corine Hayhurst, 4 Nov 2004

Maude Corine Hayhurst, 85, Lyons Rd., Hampton, died Thursday, 
November 4, 2004 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

Mrs. Hayhurst was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the 
late Tom and Florence Woodby.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Holiness Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl G. Hayhurst.

Survivors include a son, James Hayhurst, of Hampton; three sisters, 
Vina Lemmons, Bernice Powers and Dorothy Caudle, all of Elizabethton, 
and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 
6, 2004 in the Lyons Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Merritt officiating. 
Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will 
receive friends in Memorial Funeral Chapel from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday.
