Ms. Heck was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late John and Josie Campbell McNeal. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Traver N. Heck, in 1981, a daughter, Frances Racey, four brothers and two sisters. Ms. Heck was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Billy J. Stout, Roan Mountain; two daughters, Betty Jean Adcock and Bonnie Marie Heck, both of Elizabethton; a brother, Ray McNeal, Elizabethton; and two sisters, Virginia Peters, Elizabethton, and Nellie Campbell, Adrian, Mich. Seven grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive. Darrell Holly officiating. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
