Beverly A. Hicks

Beverly Ann Hicks, 71, Bluefield Avenue, Elizabethton, died 
Nov. 15, 2003, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Elmo and 
Erma Davis Crow. She was a retired nurses aide from the former Carter 
County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the East Side Free Will 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Debra Gilday and 
Melody and Robert Holt, all of Elizabethton; one son, David Sellers, 
Elizabethton; one brother, Roy Huskins, Elizabethton; six grandchildren, 
Jason Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor, Hunter Holt, Dillon Sellers, Briana Sellers 
and Sheena Sellers; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Isabella.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral 
Chapel, with the Rev. D.C. Byrd officiating. Graveside services and 
interment will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Highland Cemetery. 
Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home 
at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, will be Ronnie King, Herman King, Terry Lewis, 
Bill Ed Nidiffer, Jason Taylor and Robert Holt. The family will receive 
friends from 7-8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may also call 
at the residence of a son, David Sellers, 417 Monument Place, Elizabethton. 
Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday
