CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Coy Eston Hipps, 6 Aug 2004

Coy Eston Hipps, 89, of Hwy. 19E Bypass, Life Care Center of 
Elizabethton, died Friday, August 6, 2004, at the Life Care Center 
following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Hipps was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Mack and 
Una Nave Hipps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 
two brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Hipps was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of 
Siam Baptist Church.

Survivors include one nephew and his wife, John and Sara Lewis, Johnson 
City, and one niece, Sonya Kelley, Galveston, Texas. Three great-nephews 
and one great-niece also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 9, in the 
Nave Cemetery with Rev. Jack Roddy officiating. Everyone will meet at 
the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Monday for the graveside service. Online
