CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Martha Jean Guy Honeycutt, 21 Dec 2003

Martha Jean Guy Honeycutt age 71, Elliott Road, Hampton, died 
Sunday, December 21, 2003 at her residence following an extended 
illness. 
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and 
Lillie Trivette Guy. 
Mrs. Honeycutt was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Honeycutt 
and a brother, Chester Guy. 
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Mike Smith, 
Hampton; a son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and June Honeycutt, Hampton; 
four grandchildren: Caleb Smith, James Honeycutt, Joshua Honeycutt, 
and Jennifer Barr, all of Hampton; and one sister, Blanche Perkins, 
Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 
The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 
2003 in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy 
Haynes officiating. The graveside services and interment will be 
conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2003 in Happy Valley 
Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and 
friends. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday. 
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday prior to 
the funeral service in the chapel. Friends may also call at the residence, 
Elliott Road, Hampton, at any time. Online condolences may be sent
