Howell 12/13/99 Mrs. Ruby Frances Howell, 84, 1315 Garden Road, Elizabethton, died Thursday, December 9, 1999, at Hillview Health Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Howell was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Livingston Snodgrass. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Howell, August 21, 1990, a son, John Edward Howell, three sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Howell was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bruce Jaynes, Elizabethton, and a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Nancy Howell, Anchorage, Alaska. Ten grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, a great- great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. HOWELL -- Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Ruby Frances Howell, 84, 1315 Garden Road, Elizabethton, who died Thursday, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. James Lindsay officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bruce Jaynes, 2400 Bob Little Road, Elizabethton. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
