Pauline Hughes 

Mrs. Pauline Ensor Hughes, 80, N. East Street, Elizabethton 
(Village East Apartments), died Saturday, August 14, 2004 in the 
Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

A native of Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Roy 
A. and Mollie Stanley Ensor.

She was a 1940 graduate of Science Hill High School and a graduate 
of Steed College.

Mrs. Hughes was retired from Texas Instruments.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Hughes, February 
22, 1972; by one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Cliff Hardin, 
of Tampa, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Charline Hughes, 
Elizabethton, and Kevin W. and Trudy Hughes, of Kansas City, Mo.; a 
brother, Charles Ensor, of St. Cloud, Fla.; six grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 
2004 in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and 
friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday in
