Frances E. Hyder

Frances Edens Hyder, 79, of 2144 West G Street, Elizabethton, died 
Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, in the Northside Hospital following a brief 
illness.
She was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Frank 
and Rhoda Sims Edens.
Mrs. Hyder was a member of Hopwood Christian Church and was retired 
from North American Rayon Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul X. Hyder, and a brother, 
Wayne Edens.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Kenneth Campbell, 
Jonesborough; one grandson and spouse, Jeff and Ceilya Campbell, Gray; 
one sister, Doris Edens of the home; and several special cousins.

HYDER - Funeral services for Frances Edens Hyder, 79, of 2144 West G 
Street., who died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, will be conducted at 8 p.m. 
Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home. 
The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, 
Dec. 1, 2002 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be 
selected from family and friends. Those who plan to attend the graveside 
service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:55 p.m. Sunday. The family 
will receive friends Saturday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Chapel of 
Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton or at the residence anytime. 
Those who prefer, memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to 
Heritage Baptist Church Building Fund, 1512 John Exum Parkway, Johnson City,
