Mr. Ingram was a native of Carter County and the son of the late Robert and Ida Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Crockett Ingram, Ernie Ingram and Sam Ingram, a sister, Mary Ingram Carver, and a step-sister, Bell Waycaster. Mr. Ingram was retired from Crowder RV. Survivors include a niece, Alice Dalton and her husband Phil, Johnson City; two nephews, Sam Carver, Johnson City, and Buck Carver and his wife Volena, Jonesborough; and several more nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Ingram will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 20, from the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Booher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service, and other times at 2405 Apt. 1, Elizabethton Highway. Interment services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 21, at Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeff Crowder, Mark Crowder, Rick Crowder, Phillip Salton Jr. and Steve Carver. Condolences may be sent to the Ingram family online at www.dillow-taylor.com.
