CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Ethel Ingram, 23 Jan 2005 ----¤¤¤---- Mrs. Ethel Ingram, 77, Second Avenue, Hampton, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 23, 2005, after an extended illness. Mrs. Ingram was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Henry and Julie Bell Norris Clark. Mrs. Ingram was a mother, homemaker and grandmother. She was a member of Hampton Christian Church and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter No. 470. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Thad Ingram; a son and daughter-in- law, Randy "Chopper" and Pat Ingram, Hampton; a daughter, Teresa Diane Ingram, Hampton; a brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Elsie Clark, Hampton; two grandchildren, Sherman Ray Ingram, Ft. Huachaca, Ariz., and Elijah Alexander Ingram, Hampton; and her special friends, Marlene Odom, Christine Morris, Barbara Miller and Lois Hill. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, January 24, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Dwayne Calhoun and Mr. Kevin Hurley officiating. Music will be provided by the Hampton Church Trio. Entombment services will be conducted at 12 noon Tuesday, January 25, in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, will be Paul Smith, Robert G. Miller, Gary Leonard, Gary Plank, Terry "Mud" Montgomery and Floyd Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Gregory Miller, Raymond Crabtree, Dr. David Freemon, Dr. Frank Paul Johnson and Dr. Richard Rolen. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence.
