Sam B. Johnson
Sam B. Johnson, 83, Aviation Drive, Elizabethton, died Friday, October 1, 
2004, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.  Mr. Johnson was a native of Carter County 
and a son of the late Henry and Jane Hill Johnson. He was also preceded in 
death by several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Johnson was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. 
He attended Fork Mountain Free Will Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army 
veteran of World War II.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Johnson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, 
October 3, in the Whitehead Cemetery (Hampton) with Rev. Roy Cooper 
officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Family and 
friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:55 p.m. Sunday. Condolences to
