Frank Jones

Mr. Frank "Sweatbee" Jones, 93, 135 Big Springs Road, Elizabethton, 
died Monday, December 2, 2002, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. 
Mr. Jones was the son of the late James and Loma Taylor Jones. He was 
a lifelong resident of the Big Springs Community. He was retired from 
North American Rayon Corporation and the Carter County School System.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Merritt Jones, in 
1996; a son-in-law, Kenneth Davis; a sister and three brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Bettye Davis, Bluff City, and a son and 
daughter-in-law, Terry and Debby Jones, Elizabethton. Four grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren also survive. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home

JONES -- A private, graveside service for Mr. Frank "Sweatbee" Jones, 
93, 135 Big Springs Road, Elizabethton, was conducted Wednesday, 
December 4, 2002 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, 
donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Wilson, 
209 South Riverside Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643, or the American 
Heart Association, Tri-Cities Airport, Room 121, Blountville, TN 37617.
