Julian 03/22/99 Mrs. Elizabeth "Beth" Minton Julian, 81, 131 Southgate Drive, Elizabethton, died Friday, March 19, 1999, in Bel Air, Md., following an extended illness. Mrs. Julian was the daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Ethel Hughes Minton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen Reginald Julian, her step-father, James Ray, and two brothers, Patrick Ray and Bruce Minton. Mrs. Julian was a wife, mother and homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Richard Julian, Citrus Heights, Calif., and Douglas Julian, Bel Air, Md.; a daughter, Kay Julian Dawson, Baltimore, Md.; two daughters-in-law, Hortensia Julian and Joann Julian; a son-in-law, Larry Dawson; three grandsons, Patrick Julian, Giovanni Julian and Jarrett Julian; a sister, Gwendolyn Reincke; three brothers, Walter Minton Jr., Tom Minton and Kenny Minton; and a cousin, Josephine Hughes. Several sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. JULIAN -- Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth "Beth" Minton Julian, 81, who was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, 131 Southgate Drive, Elizabethton, who died Friday, will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Chaplain Carl Petering officiating. Music will be under the direction of Ms. Kathy Christianson. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Giovanni Julian, Jarrett Julian, Patrick Julian, Durward Julian, Bill Pierce and Jim Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Clark, Jackie Barnett, Clyde Shatley, Chris Bowers, James Julian Jr. and Paul Julian. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
