Julian Mrs. Dorothy M. Julian, 90, of Elizabethton, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Lakebridge Health Care Center after residing for the past several years with family at 1905 Rustic Road, Johnson City. Mrs. Julian was a lifelong resident of Carter County and the daughter of the late Joseph "Bud" and Ida Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel C. Miller, three sisters, Emma Winters, Georgia McKinney and Callie Elmore, and a brother, Chester Freeman, at five years of age. Mrs. Julian was a long-time member of McGill Memorial Presbyterian Church, Roan Mountain. Survivors include her husband, William M. Julian; three sons, Terry N. Miller, Elizabethton, Dale Miller, Knoxville, and D. Lee Miller, Johnson City; three sisters, Josephine Stinson of Virginia, Goldie Reaves, Lenoir City, and Louise Smith, Elizabethton; and five grandchildren, Debra McKinney, Mountain City, Dicki Alexiou, Hudson, Ohio, Sam Miller, Elizabethton, Dorothy Spaulding, Lanesville, Ind., and Wes Miller, Johnson City. Several great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. JULIAN -- Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy M. Julian, 90, of Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Martin Christian officiating. Interment will follow the service. Friends may call at the residence of Lee and Barbara Miller, 1905 Rustic Road, Johnson City, or Terry and Helen Miller, 132 Treadway Street, Elizabethton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Julian to the American Breast Cancer Society, c/o Helen Wilson, 209 S. Riverside Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
