 Mildred P. Lewis 


    Mildred "Patsy" Lewis, 93, 905 Smalling Road, died Saturday, March 8, 
2008, at NHC Healthcare. 


    Mrs. Lewis was a native and lifelong resident of Carter County. 


    She was a daughter of the late John and Nannie Gobble Hughes. . 


    Mrs. Lewis was a member of King Springs Christian Church. 


    Survivors include one son, Ross Lewis and his wife, Freddie, Griffin, Ga.; 
two granddaughters, Carla Walsh and Tracey Baker, and two great-grandchildren, 
Madison Baker and Annabelle Walsh; one brother, Thomas Hughes, Johnson City; 
and several nieces and nephews. 


    A funeral service for Mrs. Lewis will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 
10, 2008, from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel. Brother Billy 
Manuel will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Happy Valley Memorial 
Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at 
the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial 
contributions may be made to King Springs Christian Church, 1502 King Springs 
Road, Johnson City, TN 37601. Online condolences may be made through
