CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Troy J. Lambert, 3 Nov 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Troy J. Lambert Troy J. Lambert, 73, 1323 Poga Road, Butler, died Sunday, November 3, 2002, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Lambert was a native of Carter County and the son of the late Arthur Isaac and Ethel Dugger Lambert. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Scott Lambert, Fred Lambert, Roscoe Lambert, Edward "Booge" Lambert, Roy Lambert and Dewey Lambert; a sister, Ethel Clawson; an infant sister, Mary Lambert; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Ruth Greene Oliver. Mr. Lambert was the former owner and operator of L & S Produce, Boone, N.C., and Linville, N.C. He was a member of Piney Grove Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Arbeulah M. Trivette Lambert, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Ben Greene, Flat Springs, N.C., and Velma and George Bunton, Butler; two sons and daughters-in-law, T.J. and Susie Lambert, Boone, N.C., and Billy Joe and Lorie Lambert, Butler; a brother, Floyd Lambert, Valley Forge; a sister, Ruby Gavin, Granite Falls, N.C.; 11 grandchildren, two of whom are adopted sons, Brandon Lambert, Avery County, N.C., and Kenny Lambert, of the home; 10 great-grandchildren; two aunts, Rana Trivette, Butler, and Flossie Baird, Elizabethton; and two special friends, Norman and Ruth Simerly, Elizabethton. Lambert, 73, 1323 Poga Road, Butler, who died Sunday, November 3, 2002, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, at Piney Grove Church of Christ with Mr. Dean Estep, minister, officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Piney Grove Church of Christ Singers. Graveside services and interment will follow the service in the Lambert Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be L.D. Clawson, Carol Clawson, Josh Bunton, T.J. Lambert, Billy Joe Lambert, Ernest Trivette, John Lee Lambert, Fred Lambert and Gary Guy. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Fawwaz Hamati, Dean Estep, Dr. J.B. Mehta, the Staff of Johnson City Medical Center Hospital, Dr. Wesley Hanson and Staff, Bobby Trivette, John Henson, Roy Smith, Henry Ward and Rod Williams.
