Ira F. Lewis

RIDGECREST, Calif. -- Ira F. Lewis, 61, of Ridgecrest, died Monday, 
March 17, 2003, at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital in Ridgecrest.
Mr. Lewis was a native of Elizabethton, Tenn., and had been a resident 
of Ridgecrest since 1961.
Mr. Lewis was employed as a Material Handler Technician with IMC Chemical 
Corporation, Trona, Calif. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Mary H. Lewis, Ridgecrest; a son, Stephen 
Lewis, Ridgecrest; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Melissa Lewis, 
Elizabethton, Tenn.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jynifer and James Ramey, 
Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Tina Wilson & Family, Elizabethton, Tenn.; a 
stepdaughter, Stacy Asborno, San Diego; a stepson, Captain Anthony Asborno 
& Family, U.S. Army, Honduras; and a sister, Leannice, of Canada. Five 
grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, 
March 22, in Ridgecrest.
