Lunceford Mrs. Judy Bernice Ingram Lunceford, 74, 121 Tilson Avenue, Hampton, died Sunday, February 25, 2001, at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Lunceford was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Dan and Kate McKinney Ingram. She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny "Blue" Guinn, two sisters, Lena Hill and Mary Ann Whitehead, and two brothers, Charles Ingram and Roby Ingram. Mrs. Lunceford was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. Survivors include seven daughters and three sons-in-law, Katie and Donley Banner, Rose and Bobby Arnett, Wanda Lunceford, Peggy Lambert and Louise Townsend, all of Hampton, JoAnn Gillispie, Beckley, W. Va., and Patsy and Gary Carr, Memphis; three sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Lori Townsend, Elizabethton, Donnie Townsend, Hampton, and Terry Guinn, El Paso, Texas; and two sisters, Nannie Stevens and Florence Townsend, both of Elizabethton. Twenty-two grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. LUNCEFORD -- Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Bernice Ingram Lunceford, 74, 121 Tilson Avenue, Hampton, who died Sunday, February 25, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, February 26, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Coonse officiating. Music will be provided by Charlie Whitehead, Kathy Whitehead and Vivian Koster. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, at Holly Hill Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, will be grandsons and friends: Joe Whitehead, Mike Whitehead, Roger Gillispie, Bob Whitehead, Ray Whitehead, Evans Whitehead, Roy Little, Rodney Gillispie, Johnny Ferguson, Randy Whitehead, Mike Richards, Jeff Whitehead, Ron Whitehead, Jack Whitehead, Wilbur "Billy" Ellis and Jeremiah Guinn. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Donley Banner, 121 Tilson Avenue, Hampton. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:15 am. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
