CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Nora Presnell Lunceford, 17 Feb 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Nora Presnell Lunceford Nora Presnell Lunceford, 92, 143 Rose Lane, Richmond, Ky., formerly of Elizabethton, died Monday February 17, 2003 in Berea Hospital, Berea, Ky. following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was a former resident of Indiana and was the daughter of the late Scoffield and Etter Waycaster Presnell. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Lunceford, April 12, 1980; three sons, Aden Lunceford, Ellis Lunceford, Andrew Lunceford; one daughter, Ruby Lunceford; two sisters, and one brother. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Wilma Moody Lunceford, Richmond, Ky.; Larie and Ann Dillon Lunceford, Richmond, Ky.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stella and Richard Lybrook, Peru, Ind.; Dessie and Bill True, Peru, Ind.; two daughters-in-law, Charlene Runyon Lunceford, Bald Knob, Ark.; Sue Greer Lunceford, Peru, Ind.; 25 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. LUNCEFORD -- The funeral service for Nora Presnell Lunceford, 92, 143 Rose Lane, Richmond, Ky., formerly of Elizabethton, who died Monday, February 17, 2003, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2003 in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with the Reverend Russell Potter and Rev. Danny Price officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Whitehead Cemetery, Butler. Active pallbearers will be Mark True, Lonnie True, Heath Guinn, Kevin Lunceford, Johnny Lunceford, and Bill Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Lunceford, Garrett Nelbes, Thaddeus True, Daniel Barnett, and Josh Barnett. There will be a family visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2003 in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton.
