CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - William "Bill" Loveless, 26 Mar 2004 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- William "Bill" Loveless, 70, Ledford Street, Elizabethton, died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Loveless was a native of Elizabethton and a son of the late Henry and Lena Pauline Moffitt Loveless. Mr. Loveless was owner and operator of Loveless Nursery. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Auston and Connie Loveless and William Loveless Jr. and Vickie Loveless, all of Morganton, N.C., and Randall Loveless, Erwin; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Loveless Scronce and Josh Scronce, Morganton, N.C.; his former wife, Marie A. Loveless; four step-sons and three daughters-in-law, Larry and Kathie Bolton, Morganton, N.C., Steve and Evelyn Bolton and David Bolton, all of Fairhope, Ala., and Darrell and Betty Bolton, Forth Worth, Texas; four step-daughters and two sons-in-law, Tara and Rob Grindstaff and Sandy Pritchard, all of Elizabethton, Livvy Taylor and Judy and Whitey Bolken, all of Fairhope, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one half sister, Oma "Susie" Waters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 29, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Pastor David McNeil officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Rob Grindstaff, Jeramy Davenport, Michael Bolton, Eric Bolton, Josh Scronce and Blake Shook. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. Friends may call at the residence any time.
