CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Pauline Lovelace, 11 Sep 2003 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Pauline Lovelace Mrs. Pauline Lovelace, 83, Webb Hollow Loop, Elizabethton, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Wise County, Va., Mrs. Lovelace was a daughter of the late Charlie and Blanche Williams Pierce. She had lived most of her life in Carter County. Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Lovelace, May 16, 1995; a daughter, Charlene Houstma; a brother, Hubert Pierce; and a sister, Lillian Pierce. Mrs. Lovelace was a member of Beck Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters and three sons-in-law, Wilma Ann and Powell Colbaugh, Doris Janet and Lester Colbaugh and Paula Faye and Brian Berry, all of Elizabethton; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Gale and Emily Lovelace, Terry and Ruthie Lovelace and Randy Lovelace, all of Elizabethton, and Charles and Patricia Lovelace, Kingsport; a sister, Faye Sims, Bowling Green, Ky.; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her special friends, Toosie Peters and Marie Baird. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Campbell and the Rev. Tony Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Sams, grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of Paula and Brian Berry, 317 H. Heaton Road, Elizabethton.
