Marsh Rona Mae Marsh, 76, 103 Mill Creek Road, Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning, April 25, 2006, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Mrs. Marsh was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Raymond and Ena Mae Richardson Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Marsh, in 1985, her son, William Marsh Jr., in 2000, and four brothers, James, John, Eddie and Stacy Ray Arnold. Mrs. Marsh was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church, Melvindale, Mich. She had resided in Michigan for about 30 years, prior to moving back to Tennessee. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Marsh, of the home; three sisters, Lois Lowe, Charlotte Townsend and Mary "Toddy" Holder, all of Elizabethton; and a brother, Jerry Arnold, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Marsh will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Phillips and the Rev. Willie Campbell officiating. Music will be provided by Doyce Sheffield. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Chip Bailey, Roger Arnold, Randy Arnold, Tim Townsend, Doyce Sheffield, Noah "Fuzz" Ensor, David Holder and Mike Holder. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Richardson, James Earl Richardson, Earl Richardson and Ronnie Campbell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service hour. Friends may also call at the residence at anytime. Pallbearers, family and friends will assemble at the funeral chapel at 10:15 a.m. Friday to go to the graveside service. Condolences to the Marsh family may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
