McInturff Margaret Louise McInturff, 73, 1306 Patrick Drive, Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 3, 2008, at NHC Health Care Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Howard and Ina Turbyfield Puckett. Mrs. McInturff was a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Kennametal. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Sherman McInturff, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Norma McInturff, Johnson City; a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Hinkle and Tim Everhart, Gray; four grandchildren, Angie McInturff and Travis McInturff, both of Johnson City, Josh and Jason Hinkle, both of Gray; two great-grandchildren, Layne and Keenan McInturff, both of Johnson City; two brothers, Hobart Puckett, Johnson City, and Denny Turbyfield, Carter County; and two sisters, Francis Barnette, Carter County, and Virginia Arwood, Jonesborough. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. McInturff will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. Music will be provided by Barbara Smith, Kevin Collins, Jennifer Collins and Debbie Barnette. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Josh and Jason Hinkle, Travis McInturff, Tim Everhart, Kenny Arwood, Billy Barnette and Jimmy McInturff. Honorary pallbearers will be the trustees and deacons of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Those who plan to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the church at 1:15 p.m. Thursday.
