Charlotte L. Mink 





    Charlotte Louise Burrow Mink, 81, of Elizabethton, died Tuesday, June 19, 

2007, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. 





    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and 

Fannie Smith Burrow. 





    Mrs. Mink was a 1943 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was 

formerly employed as a secretary at Free Service Tire Company and retired from 

the U.S. Forest Service. She was a member of First Christian Church. 





    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty 

Jayne Miller, and a brother, Jimmy Burrow. 





    Survivors include her husband, David Mink; a son and daughter-in-law, 

James L. and Linda Miller of Hampton; a grandson, Jeffrey Miller and his wife 

Kellie of Johnson City; and a sister, Marie Hunter of Bronson, Fla. Several 

nieces and nephews also survive. 





    Funeral services for Mrs. Mink will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 

21, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Brent Nidiffer officiating. Music will 

be provided by Gene Estep, organist. Graveside services and interment will be 

at 1 p.m. Friday, June 22, in the Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be 

selected from friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. 

Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral 

home at 12:40 p.m. Friday to go to the cemetery. Online condolences to the
