Malone 11/12/99 Mrs. Mollie D. Malone, 83, formerly of Hampton, died Wednesday, November 10, 1999, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Malone was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Louise Livingston Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Malone Sr., August 15, 1994, and by four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Malone was a former employee of American Bemberg Corporation with 15 years of service. She was a Charter Member of Bethel Church. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, A.C. "Bud" Malone Jr. and Dale Malone, Bossier City, La., and Dr. Willie Malone, Johnson City, and a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Bill Pearce, Hampton. Eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. MALONE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie D. Malone, 83, formerly of Hampton, who died Wednesday, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Hathaway- Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with Dr. Willie Malone and Rev. Charles Pearce officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Bill Pearce, John Malone, Kelly Malone, Keith Malone, Anthony "Tut" Malone and Bob Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be George Lilly and the nurses and staff of Life Care Center of Elizabethton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Jean Pearce, 111 Melrose Street, Hampton, any time. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
