Ralph McKinney

Ralph McKinney, 76, 1221 Powder Branch Road, Johnson City, died Monday, 
June 19, 2000, at his residence. 
Mr. McKinney was a native of Carter County and the son of the late Nat and 
Birdie McKinney. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Chasie E. Snyder 
McKinney, February 13, 1999. 
Mr. McKinney was retired from North American Rayon Corporation where he was 
a guard for several years. He was a memer of Martindale Baptist Church and a 
member of Dashiell Masonic Lodge #238 F&AM and the Knoxville Scottish Rites. 
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. 
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Malcolm and Lana McKinney, 
Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Rick McKinney, Elizabethton, and Tessa Kirk, 
Chattanooga; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Abbigale McKinney, both of 
Elizabethton; and a sister, Olene Willocks, Johnson City.

McKINNEY -- A private service of entombment for Ralph McKinney, 76, 1221 
Powder Branch Road, Johnson City, who died Monday, June 19, 2000, will be held 
in the Mausoleum of Love at Roselawn Memory Gardens at a later date. In lieu 
of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carter County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box
