Ellen L. McLean

   PERU, Ind. -- Ellen L. McLean, 86, 14 S. Wayne Street, Peru, died 
Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at her residence.
   Mrs. McLean a native of Elizabethton, Tenn., and the daughter of the 
late Andy Sims and Hattie Guinn. She was also preceded in death by her 
husband, Paul McLean, November 3, 1970, and by three sisters and a brother.
   Mrs. McLean had resided in Roann, Ind., from 1965-1970 and in Peru since 
1970. She retired in 1980 from U.S. Gypsum, Wabash, with 29 years of service.
   Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judy McLean, 
Wabash, and two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Christopher "Chris" 
McLean and Joel and Jeriann McLean, all of Wabash. Five great-grandchildren 
and one great-great-grandson also survive.
   Funeral services and interment will be conducted Friday, March 29, in 
Roann.
   Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, Roann, Ind., (765) 833-5591, is in 
charge of arrangements.
