McCloud Mrs. Myrsonne Virginia McCloud, 79, of Elizabethton, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. McCloud was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Martin and Callie Berry Buckles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nolan H. McCloud, December 12, 1993, and a grandson, Jeremiah David McCloud, January 2, 1993. Mrs. McCloud was a retired waitress from Dino's Restaurant. She and her late husband formerly operated the Shamrock and Sunset Inn Restaurants for a number of years. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William Stevenson and Carolyn Loyd McCloud, Dandridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Kassandra McCloud and Michael Stitt, Chattanooga; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Depew, Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren, William Stevenson McCloud II, Kristi Noelle McCloud Adams, Timothy Nolan McCloud, Brian Wesley Stitt, Nicole Denise Stitt Burgess and Jaime Lee Stitt Holden.; two great-grandsons, Thomas E. Adams III and Nicholas Austin Holden; a niece and her husband, Jean and Ralph Champion; a nephew and his wife, Robert and Vickie Depew; and a special cousin and her husband, Mary and Calvin Caldwell. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. McCLOUD -- Graveside services for Mrs. Myrsonne Virginia McCloud, 79, of Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Shelton officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be Steve McCloud, Tim McCloud, Calvin Caldwell, John William McCloud, Ronnie McCloud, William McCloud, Brian Stitt, Jason Burgess, Jon Holden and Tom Adams. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
