McMaster 03/01/99 Mrs. Pauline Markland McMaster, 90, 1099 Rittertown Road, Hampton, died Friday, February 26, 1999, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla., following a brief illness. Mrs. McMaster was a native of Carter County and a former resident of Murfreesboro. She was a daughter of the late Landon and Arminta Rainbolt Markland and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Wade McMaster, in 1996, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Cash. Mrs. McMaster was a member of the Rittertown Baptist Church in Hampton and a Charter Member of the Third Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. She was a former dietician at Central High School in Murfreesboro. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Barbara McMaster, Greenville, S.C., and James and JoAnn McMaster, Chillicothe, Ohio; two brothers, L.J. Markland Jr., Elizabethton, and Edward Markland, Crossville; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Presson, Elizabethton, and Mrs. Edith Nave, Hampton. Three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews also survive. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. McMASTER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Markland McMaster, 90, 1099 Rittertown Road, Hampton, who died Friday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, 1999, at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with Mr. Clifford Smith and Rev. Wendall Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery in Hampton. Active pallbearers will be selected. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Friends may also call at the residence any time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the Rittertown Baptist Church, Rittertown Road, Hampton, TN 37658 and designate them for the Baptist Children's Home.
