McQueen Nelia K. Dishman McQueen, 91, 210 West B Street, Elizabethton, died Saturday, November 11, 2000, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. McQueen was a native of Butler and the daughter of the late C.C. and Mary Jane Shoun Dishman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Guy McQueen Sr., a son, Sammy McQueen, a daughter, Ramona Gregg, and a granddaughter, Mary E. White. Mrs. McQueen was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethton and a member of the Eastern Star, Butler Chapter #218. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and T.J. Nolen, Dugspur, Va.; eight grandchildren and four spouses, Robert and Linda White, Phil White, Judy and Larry McKinney and Susan and Loyal Limb, all of Elizabethton, Patsy Ontiveros of New Mexico, Regina Butrick, South Bend, Ind., Nancy and Steve Riploge, Las Vegas, Nev., and Kitty Gregg, Atlanta, Ga.; and stepgrandchildren, R.C., Pat and Terrie Nolen and Linda Marie White. Nineteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Dishman McQueen, 91, 210 West B Street, Elizabethton, who died Saturday, November 11, 2000, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, November 13, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Owens officiating. Music will be under the direction of Joel Crisp. An Eastern Star Service will follow. Committal and entombment services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, in the Mausoleum of Hope at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Robert White, Phil White, Brian Mock, Danny Mock, Jimmy Mock, Troy White, Chris White, Larry McKinney and Loyal Limb. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. McQueen, Pete McQueen and Glen Slemp. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence, 210 West B Street, Elizabethton, at any time.
