Moore Mrs. Georgia Morrell Moore, 80, 5400 Skeens Ridge Road, Big Stone Gap, Va., formerly of 209 Forrest Circle, Jonesborough, died Sunday, January 14, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital, Norton, Va. Mrs. Moore was a native of Carter County but had lived in Washington County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Roy M. and Eleanor Forrester Morrell and was also preceded in death by her husband, Gregg Moore, in 1989, and by two brothers. Mrs. Moore was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Jonesborough United Methodist Church and was active in many church functions. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Patty Moore, Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Sue and Gregg Cantrell, Big Stone Gap, Va., and Nancy and David Martin, Thompson Station, Tenn.; a brother, Nat D. Morrell, Knoxville; and two sisters, Barbara Roe and Ina Williams, both of Elizabethton. Eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Woodall-Anderson Funeral Home, 108 W. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City, (423) 928-2101, is in charge of arrangements. MOORE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Morrell Moore, 80, 5400 Skeens Ridge Road, Big Stone Gap, Va., formerly of 209 Forrest Circle, Jonesborough, who died Sunday, January 14, 2001, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, at Jonesborough United Methodist Church with Dr. Kenneth LaDuke and the Rev. Will Kipe officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Maplelawn Cemetery for the graveside service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Moore will be taken to the church Tuesday afternoon where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in memory of Mrs. Moore to the Red Bird Mission, c/o Jonesborough United Methodist Church. Woodall- Anderson Funeral Home, 108 W.
