Morley 02/22/99 Dorothy Estep Morley, 84, 210 Allen Avenue, Elizabethton, died Friday, February 19, 1999, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness. Ms. Morley was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Crit T. and Eliza Ellis Estep. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Morley, November 15, 1996; four sisters, Gladys Morrell, Nell Greenlee, Kathyleen Roberts and Tulva Estep; and two brothers, Robert Leslie Estep and Glenn Jobe Estep. Ms. Morley was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, where she was active in the circles of the church. She was also a member of the Sycamore Chapter No. 163 Order of the Eastern Star and the Elizabethton Women's Club. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Keith Sr. and Becky Morley, Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Keith Morley II, Kingsport, Rachel Morley, Murfreesboro, and Michelle Morley, Knoxville; a great-granddaughter, Lexis Kay Morley, Kingsport; a great-grandson, Keith Morley III, Kingsport; a sister, Maggie Howard, Elizabethton; a brother, Tipton Estep, Cocoa, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Simerly and Margaret Morley Dye, both of Elizabethton; and two brothers-in-law, Strauss Morley, Johnson City, and Kay Morley, Jonesborough. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. MORLEY -- Funeral services for Dorothy Estep Morley, 84, 210 Allen Avenue, Elizabethton, who died Friday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with Dr. Don Marshall, minister, officiating. Music will be under the direction of Ms. Sharen Brown, soloist, and David Arney, organist. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Keith Morley II, Hensel Johnson, Graham Conner, Knova Potter, Harold Stout, Robert Buck, Don Bradley, Jack Morrell, Alfred Runnion, Ted Simerly, Glenn Estep, Hubert Estep, Grady Fair and Jim Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Kammer Sr., Dan Kammer Jr., Billy Kammer, Michael Kammer, Steve Roberts, Tony Roberts, Harry Colbaugh, Vaughn Brumit, Ronnie Jones, Louis Runnion, Dr. Willie Malone, Jerry Hart, Guy Sherril, Wayne Fair, Danna Fair, Harry Ray Brendel, Paul Woodby, John Davis, Dr. Eugene Galloway, Strauss Morley and Kay Morley. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at the residence of her son, Dr. Keith Morley Sr., 318 Pine Hill Road, Elizabethton, any time. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
