Della M. Morgan

   Mrs. Della Marie Morgan, 71, 1126 East Erwin Road, Apt. 30, Erwin, 
died Saturday, October 14, 2000, at Erwin Health Care Center.
   Mrs. Morgan was a native of Carter County, having lived most of her 
life in Unicoi County. She was a daughter of the late John Benjamin and 
Emma Jane Presnell James and was also preceded in death by her husband, 
Johnathan Harry Morgan, in 1968, a son, James Herbert Morgan, and a 
sister, Remus Edith Mathes.
   Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker. She was of the Church of God faith.
   Survivors include two sons, Johnathan Steven Morgan, Knoxville, and 
Charles Franklin "Bud" Morgan, Nashville, and four daughters and sons-in-
law, Judith Ann and James Lewis and Lisa and John Lewis, all of Johnson 
City, Janet Marie and Denton Tipton, Erwin, and Deborah Kay and Brian 
Mullins, Beckley, W.Va. Twelve grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren also survive.
   Ledford Funeral Home, 720 Ohio Avenue, Erwin, (423) 743-1380 or 
(423) 928-4595, is in charge of arrangements.
   
   MORGAN -- Funeral services for Mrs. Della Marie Morgan, 71, 1126 
East Erwin Road, Apt. 30, Erwin, who died Saturday, October 14, 2000, 
will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, October 16, at Ledford Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Terry Hopson officiating. Music will be provided by 
Inez Chandler. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11 
a.m. Tuesday, October 17, at Garland Cemetery, Hwy. 81, Erwin. Active 
pallbearers will be grandsons and family members. Honorary pallbearers 
will be Dr. Janet Drake, Dr. Matthew Ho, Dr. Lauer-Silva, and Dr. 
David Beals. All pallbearers are requested to assemble at the funeral 
home by 7:30 p.m. Monday and at the cemetery by 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. 
The family, friends and minister may gather at the cemetery by 10:45 
a.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday 
at the funeral home. Ledford Funeral Home, 720 Ohio Avenue, Erwin,
