Mrs. Ruth L. Morris, 86, of Johnson City, died Sunday, November 7, 2004 
in Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Morris was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late George 
A. and Catheryn Headrich Livingston.

She was a music teacher and for 13 years was employed by American Bemberg 
Corp.

She was a member of Big Springs Christian Church, Elizabethton. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Morris, Sept. 24, 
2004, and by three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ruth L. Morris will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, 
November 9, 2004 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with 
Mr. H. Clay Bailey, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Happy 
Valley Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Snell, Carl Tipton, 
Matthew Lunceford and Joel Bishop. The family will receive friends in the 
funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. Online
