Obituary appeared in the Friday February 17, 1933 Elizabethton Star
 
Mrs. Susana Morton, age 78 died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hazelwood
on the Butler Highway, Thursday February 16 at one o'clock.  Funeral services
were conducted at the Dividing Ridge Church, today at one o'clock with the
Rev. E.E. Hazelwood in charge.  Interment in the Morton grave yard.  Mrs.
Morton is survived by one brother, Isaac Grindstaff of Hampton, Tenn.

(Susannah was the daughter of Michael M. Grindstaff c1807-after 1880 and Sarah
Chambers c1810-after 1880.  Susannah's husband was Zachariah Morton 1848-?)
