Nannie B. Murray

   Nannie B. Murray, 98, 230 Price Road, Elizabethton, died Saturday, 
January 8, 2000, at her residence following an extended illness.
   Mrs. Murray was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the 
late Isaac and Sally Carriger Bowers. She was also preceded in death 
by her husband, Clyde Eugene Murray, two brothers, Joe Bowers and Pat 
Bowers, and three sisters, Flora Chambers, Bessie Bowers and Mary Berry.
   Mrs. Murray was a member of Valley Forge Christian Church.
   Survivors include a son, James P. Murray, Elizabethton, and a daughter, 
Edna Grace, of the home. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
   Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

   MURRAY -- Graveside services for Nannie B. Murray, 98, 230 Price Road, 
Elizabethton, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at 
Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Jack Roddy officiating. Everyone 
will meet at the cemetery at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday for the graveside services. 
Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
