Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Nave was a native of Hampton and a son of the late Floe and Hattie Mae Smith Nave. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Nave was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, June Elizabeth Street Nave, of the home; one son, Luther Paul Nave, Jr., Hampton; one daughter, Cheryl Nave, Atlanta, Ga.; three nieces, and one granddaughter, Ashley Brook Nave, Bristol, Tenn. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. www.Funeral-Plans.com/Hathaway-Percy NAVE -- Funeral services for Luther "Paul" Nave, Sr., 81, 405 Second Avenue, Hampton, who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with the Rev. James Archer officiating. Music will be by Mrs. Arlane Archer, soloist. Graveside service and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, in the Crown Section of Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Albert Deloach, A.C. Burgess, James Andrews, Howard Julian, D. C.. Simerly, and George Smith. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 6:30-7:30 p.m. prior to the service. Special thanks to the primary care staff at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Mountain Home and the Housecall nurses. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
