Elonzo T. Nave

   Elonzo Tyler "Lon" Nave, 90, 506 Range Street, Elizabethton, died 
Saturday, December 16, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital after an extended 
illness.
   Mr. Nave was a native of Carter County and a son of the late Joseph and 
Sally White Nave. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, India 
Price Nave, and by four brothers and two sisters.
   Mr. Nave was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and a retired Sales 
Manager for Beaunit Fibers, having worked out of the New York Office for a 
number of years. He was a member of First Christian Church.
   He was a member of the Elizabethton Elks Lodge #1847, the Elizabethton 
Golf Club and a member of the River Queen Club. He was a Country Music Singer.
   Survivors include his wife, Nellie Greer Nave; several nieces and nephews; 
two special sisters-in-law, Grace Williams and Ellen Holly; and a special 
friend, Cliff Rhodes.
   Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements."
