CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Ruby Nave, 15 Mar 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Ruby Nave Mrs. Ruby Nave, 85, formerly of Paty Place, Elizabethton, died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at Pine Ridge Care Center, Elizabethton, following a brief illness. Mrs. Nave was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Monroe and Sabina Wilson Warren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Eugene "Peg" Nave, a brother, Carl Warren, and a sister, Ruth Warren. Mrs. Nave was a member of the Ladies Golf Association for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethton. Survivors include a son, Connie Nave, of the home; a daughter, Sabena Nave, of the home; three foster sons, Jack VanDyke, Elizabethton, Jim VanDyke, Bluff City, and Jerry VanDyke, San Dimas, Calif.; and a brother, Thomas Warren, Watauga. Seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Brent Seals officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
