Charlotte L. Nelson

   Charlotte Jo Lipford Nelson, 73, 101 Franklin Place, Apt. 10, 
Elizabethton, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at her residence following an 
extended illness.
   A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late James and 
Sarah Lady Robertson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, 
Basil Lipford, a son, Randy Lynn Lipford, three brothers and four sisters.
   She attended First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
   Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Mitsi and Randy 
Rogers, Elizabethton, Sherry and Mike Pope, Gastonia, N.C., Lori and Alan 
Smith, Iron Station, N.C., two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Wayne 
Robinson, Elizabethton, and Steve and Anna Lipford, Charlotte, N.C., 10 
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Loretta Lipford, 
Charlotte, N.C., and several nieces and nephews. Tetrick Funeral Home,

   NELSON -- The funeral service for Charlotte Jo Lipford Nelson, 73, 101 
Franklin Place, Apt. 10, Elizabethton, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, will 
be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at Tetrick Funeral Home 
Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Phil Poston officiating. Music will be 
under the direction of the Rev. Phil Poston. The family received friends 
from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside 
Chapel, or friends may call at the residence of a daughter, Mitsi Rogers, 
167 Hurley Hollow Rd., Elizabethton, any time. Those who prefer memorials 
in lieu of flowers may make donations to Adventa Hospice, 106 Rogosin Dr., 
Elizabethton, TN 37643, or The American Cancer Society, 209 S. Riverside 
Dr., Elizabethton, TN 37643. The graveside service and interment will be 
conducted by Almond, Raymer and McConnell Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC,
