Nidiffer Fannie A. Nidiffer, 85, formerly of 1690 Highway 91, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at Pine Ridge Care Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Nidiffer was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late James and Sarah Hyder Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clarence Nidiffer, in 1978, four brothers, Robert Campbell, Woodroe Campbell, Jimmy Campbell and John Campbell, and three sisters, Carrie Gill, Frances Cox and Parlee Ramsey. Mrs. Nidiffer was of the Free Will Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. Survivors include a foster daughter and her husband, Susie and Nelson Hall, Thomasville, N.C. Nidiffer, 85, formerly of 1690 Highway 91, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Burleson officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton.
