O'Dell Maggie Lipps O'Dell, 87, 161 Hurley Hollow Rd., Elizabethton, died Friday, July 20, 2001, at her residence following an extended illness. A Carter County native, she was the daughter of the late William and Kitty Blevins Lipps. She was preceded in death by her first husband Martin Arnold, and by her second husband, Malone O'Dell, a son, Lewis Arnold, three brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandson, Jacob Buckles. She was a homemaker and a member of Moore's Chapel Free Will Baptist church. Survivors include a daughter Marsha Poston, Meadowview, Va., three grandchildren, James Buckles, Elizabethton, Vicki Crowder, Gray, Renee Roberts, Abingdon, Va., seven great-grandchildren, Justin Buckles, Jason Buckles, Jamin Buckles, Levi Buckles, all of Elizabethton, Matthew Crowder, Amy Crowder, both of Gray, Thomas Roberts, Abingdon, Va., and one great-great grandchild, Ty Buckles, Elizabethton. Graveside services and interment will be at Ensor Cemetery following the service.
