Odom 11/09/99 Mrs. Frances Beatrice Odom, 80, 117 Little Doe Lane, Hampton, died Monday, November 8, 1999, at Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Odom was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Lydia Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Odom, who died in June 1966. Mrs. Odom was a member of the Little Doe Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Odom Jr. and Jane Odom, Rock Hill, S.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Sam Ferguson and Kathy and Mike McCall, all of Elizabethton; and eight grandchildren, Carolee Ferguson, Phillip Ferguson, Stacie McCall and Michael McCall, all of Elizabethton, Audrey Odom, Tommy Odom, Derek Odom and Jill Odom, all of Rock Hill, S.C. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. ODOM -- Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Beatrice Odom, 80, 117 Little Doe Lane, Hampton, who went to be with her Lord and Saviour Monday, November 8, 1999, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little Doe Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Maines and Rev. Roy Cates officiating. Interment will be in the Captain Nelson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and David Ferguson and George Roberson. Her Honorary Christian Friends are: Christine Perkins, Alma Cates, Georgia Hill, Ruth Calhoun, Joyce Hinkle, Beatrice Thomas and Jean Lewis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Sam Ferguson, 151 Avon Avenue, Elizabethton (Valley Forge Community). Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
