Marie H. Odom

  Marie Hathaway Odom, 72, 336 Old Andrew Johnson Avenue, Jefferson 
City, died Thursday, July 13, 2000, in the Life Care Center of 
Jefferson City. 
  A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Abraham 
M. and Dorothy Simerly Hathaway. She had lived a number of years in 
Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed 
Crowe. 
  Mrs. Odom was a member of the East Side Christian Church of 
Elizabethton. 
  Survivors include her husband, William P. Odom; one daughter, Patricia 
Cencarik, Jefferson City; three sons: Dayton Jones, Johnson City; Henry 
Crowe, Knoxville; and Robert Crowe, Elizabethton; eight grandchildren, 
three step-daughters, five step-sons, and a special step-daughter-in-law, 
Linda Odom, Jefferson City. 
  Memorial Funeral is in charge of arrangements. 


  ODOM -- Graveside services for Marie Hathaway Odom, 72, 336 Old Andrew 
Johnson Avenue, Jefferson City, who died Thursday, will be conducted at 
1 p.m. Sunday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Mack Bennett 
officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 
12:30 p.m. Sunday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral is in charge 
of arrangements.
