Mattie Oliver

  Mattie Oliver, 95, formerly of 2825 Gap Creek Road, Hampton, died 
Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Roan Highlands Nursing Center following an 
extended illness.
  A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late James and 
Melissa Glover Campbell. She was preceded in death by four sisters and 
two brothers.
  She was a member of Pearce's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
  Survivors include one son, Darrell Oliver, of the home; one grandson, 
Keith Oliver, Charleston, S.C.; three great-grandchildren: Amber Oliver
and Amanda Jo Oliver, and Ryan, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; a very special 
friend and niece, Myra Winters, Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.

  OLIVER -- Graveside services for Mattie Oliver, 95, formerly of 2825 Gap 
Creek Road, Hampton, who died Tuesday, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, 
Aug. 10, 2000, at Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clifford 
Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews. Everyone will meet at the 
cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Thursday for the graveside service. Friends may call 
at Tetrick Funeral Home, after 2 p.m. Wednesday or at the residence of a 
niece, Myra Winters, 2821 Gap Creek Road, Hampton, any time. For those who 
prefer, memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Alzheimer's 
Association-Northeast Tennessee Chapter, 207 North Boone Street, Suite 
1050, Johnson City, TN 37604, or Carter County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 682,
