Helen B. Price 

Helen B. Price, 83, 1408 Stateline Road, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, 

September 7, 2005, at Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. 

Mrs. Price was a native of Carter County. She attended Keystone Free Will 

Baptist Church in Johnson City. 

Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Zeb Price, two 

sons, Charles and Joe Price, and a daughter, Joan Summerow. 

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Jerry Ludrosky, 

Elizabethton; her lifelong companion and friend, Bill Fenner Sr., Elizabethton; 

14 grandchildren, Billy Fenner Jr., Terry Fenner, Kathy Melton, Connie Gray, 

Willie Perry, Joey Lowman, Martha Dugger-Reyes, Goldie Ludrosky, Little Jerry 

Ludrosky, Charles Dean Price, Chucky Price, Cathy Price, David Price and Chris 

Price; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mamie Dixon, Elizabethton, and Ada 

Hill of North Carolina; and a brother, Dud Price, Elizabethton. Several nieces 

and nephews also survive. 

The funeral service for Mrs. Price will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, 

September 10, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. 

Bill Greer officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Keystone Trio. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, 

prior to the service in the chapel, or at the home of her daughter, 2120 

Forsyth Drive, Elizabethton, at other times. The graveside service and 

interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, at Happy Valley Memorial 

Park. Those attending are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Sunday 

to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Terry Fenner, 

Joey Lowman, Ricky Hardin, Chris Price, Rick Melton and Alberto Reyes. Online
