Perry Mrs. Elizabeth Shipley Perry, 85, 5088 Bluff City Highway, Bluff City, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Mrs. Perry was a Carter County native and had lived in Sullivan County for a number of years. She was a daughter of the late David H. and Maggie Nave Davis. Mrs. Perry was formerly employed by Johnson City Memorial Hospital and Colonial Hill Health Care Center. Mrs. Perry was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church, Bluff City. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Shipley Collins, July 19, 2000, and one brother, Jim Davis. Survivors include her husband, Arco Perry, one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Shipley, Bluff City, one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Velmer Rock, Elizabethton, two brothers and sister-in-law, Parker and Dean Davis, Elizabethton, and Billy and Doris Davis, Hampton, and one granddaughter, Michelle Pearson, Bluff City. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. PERRY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Shipley Perry, 85, 5088 Bluff City Highway, Bluff City, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in the Bunker Hill Christian Church, with Mr. Ernie Depew, minister, officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. The church trio will provide the music. Active pallbearers will be elders and deacons of the church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Bunker Hill Christian Church. Friends may also call at the residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
