Obituary appeared in the Saturday May 6, 1933 Elizabethton Star

Mrs. W.C. Peters, age 56, died at her home at Carter, Friday afternoon at 4:30
o'clock.  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the
residence with the Rev. Clarence Howington in charge. Interment will be in the
family cemetery.  Mrs. Peters is survived by her husband, W.C. Peters, two
boys Clate and Anderson and one girl Cora, all of Carter.

(Mrs. W.C. Peters is Docia Richardson daughter of William Richardson and Sarah
Wilson.  She was the wife of Wiley Peters 1876-1941)
